Sofi Thanhauser is an writer, artist, and musician, living in Brooklyn. She teaches in the Writing Department at Pratt University. She is the author of Worn: A Peoples’ History of Clothing (Pantheon, January, 2022). She has received fellowships from the Fulbright, Macdowell, Ucross, Millay, and Jentel. Her writing has appeared in Vox, The Establishment, Entropy, and other publications. She studied U.S. History at Columbia University, and Creative Writing and Environment and Natural Resources at the University of Wyoming.
